Shop Counter Sales
18 September 2023 The following will be available by appointment. Please make contact and arrange a convenient time for collection.
Jams and Chutney. Honey and Honeycomb.
Frozen Fruit All items are subject to availability and may sometimes be out of stock.
Payments - Cash, Card, BACS or Cheques.
If you have changed your e-mail address, don't forget to let us know so we can update our mailing list. If you have a collection of clean supermarket carrier bags and don't know what to do with them, please bring them to us and we will re-use them for you. Egg boxes too. We are attempting to reduce the number of plastic bags we use in the shop. There are some items which need to be bagged, and we will continue to do so. Re-using supermarket bags does help, but is not the real answer. Please try to remember to bring a basket, cardboard box or re-useable bag with you.
Pick Your Own The only crops we now grow for PYO are Gooseberries, Redcurrants and Blackcurrants.
Please bring your own containers - Get them weighed in the shop before picking. Too hot to pick during the day - Evening Picking Monday - Friday by appointment. Want to make jam, but don't have the time when the fruit is all ready? Pick your fruit in season and freeze it till you have more time later in the year. Lots of other uses for frozen fruit too - Stewed mixed fruits for crumbles, pies, on breakfast cereal, ice cream, fruit smoothies......... Ask in the shop if you need more ideas.
